We have Hero WOD number 3/12 for our 12 Heroes Challenge. This one is tough. Majority of CrossFit gyms do this workout during the week of Veteran’s day. We have multiple scaling options as well as a partner option. If you moss today you can make this workout up this week and it will still count towards the 12 Heroes Challenge.

CHAD 1000X (Time)

For Time:

1000 Box Step-ups @20″

Men’s Rx: 45# Ruck

Women’s Rx: 35# Ruck

*CHAD1000X is a CrossFit Hero workout written in honor of Navy SEAL Senior Chief Chad Wilkinson, who died by suicide on Oct. 29, 2018 as a result of several traumatic brain injuries, blast-wave injuries, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) stemming from many deployments across more than two decades of service. Chad is survived by his spouse, Sara, a former CrossFit Seminar Staff flowmaster, and children, Kinsley and Hudson; as well as countless other friends and family.

Coach’s Notes: This is Hero WOD #3 of our 12 Heroes Challenge. Make sure to sign into class and submit a time so we can keep track.

Scaling options:

Less weight or bodyweight

500 reps

75 minute cap on the workout.
